Meet The Rapper Who Raised $100,000 To Supply Winter Coats To Homeless


Chicago hip hop recording artist, Chancelor Bennett, better known by his stage name Chance the Rapper, is thinking about the homeless and already planning on how to keep them warm this winter.  The American rapper is planning to supply the homeless in Chicago with winter coats with an astounding donation of $100,000.  To fulfill this, Chance The Rapper’s kicked off his campaign a few weeks ago.

Chance, whose plan is to cloth homeless Chicagoans with a special coat that is “water-resistant” and “self-heating”  and can be transformed into a sleeping bag, or be worn as an over-the-shoulder bag when it is not in use.

Chance revealed in an official announcement on Twitter how much he has been able to raise from his campaign and detailing his plans.
Wow.
