Tragic: The victim Nastya |
This is the first picture of the murdered four-year-old girl whose severed
head was found being carried in the street by her nanny.
A 39-year-old woman has been arrested after carrying the four-year-old
child's head while shouting 'Allahu Akbar' and 'I'm a terrorist'.
She was arrested as half a dozen police officers swooped near Oktyabrskoye
Pole metro station in Moscow, Russia, as the woman reportedly shouted she had a
bomb.

Trauma: The victim's mother Ekaterina
The girl's mum was later seen being taken away by paramedics after being
told her daughter had been decapitated before having her head paraded through
the streets.
Police later revealed the girl's headless body had been found inside a
burning apartment nearby.
Local media have identified the nanny as Gulchekhra Bobokulova from
Uzbekistan in central Asia and her victim only as Nastya M.

Grief: Girl's mum is seen being taken away
Officers say the arrested woman was her babysitter and had waited until her
parents left before carrying out the attack.
The girl's mother, Ekaterina, is now being treated in hospital after
collapsing when she was told the news by police.
Russian investigators said they had charged the nanny with murder.
She is currently undergoing psychiatric testing to see if she is mentally
sound and able to understand the significance of the crime she has committed.
She is said to have told police she carried out the attack because of her
husband's infidelity.

Sickening: The nanny was reportedly heard shouting 'allahu akbar'
Moscow’s investigative committee said in a statement: “Given the clearly
deranged behaviour of the detainee, investigators swiftly ordered her to
undergo psychiatric tests to establish whether she is capable of understanding
the significance of her actions.”
Eye-witnesses claimed the woman was threatening to blow herself up at the
scene but police said the woman had no explosives on her person.
The metro station was searched for explosives but given the all-clear by
specialist officers a short time later.
Dramatic footage shows the moment officers sprinted towards her before
dragging her to the ground and arresting her.
Eye-witness Alyona Kuratova told Russia's Rain TV: "I came out of the
shopping center and they tried to not let me through. There were a bunch of
people there, running, screaming 'bomb, bomb'.

Distressing: The sickening scene after the woman was spotted
"I saw that a woman was walking near the Oktyabrskoye Polye metro,
near the road, all in black. She had not even some kind of bundle, but a head.
"Maybe it was a child's head, like they were whispering in the crowd.
She was shouting something".
Yulia Ivanova, an official spokesperson for Moscow's Interior Ministry,
said: "(The suspect) had waited until the parents left with the older
child, and for unknown reasons committed murder of the child, set the apartment
on fire and left the scene of the crime."
The child is understood to have been unable to walk and had learning difficulties.
The incident is not being treated as an act of terrorism.
